The Alliance of Forsyth County, Georgia
Our Vision is to help the under-resourced and at-risk individuals and families in Forsyth County, Georgia. Our Mission is to network and coordinate the efforts of our county’s collaborative organizations to assist with the identified needs within our county.
The Alliance operates with representation from the following 7 Channels of Influence* to address the under-resourced and those at-risk residents.
Our focus is to see a difference in the lives of those struggling within our community. Since its existence, the Alliance has touched many lives and impacted many within our community.
In the summer of 2014, a group of Forsyth County pastors recognized the need to coordinate the awareness of services for the “under-resourced” individuals and families within our Georgia communities.
Over the years, members within our community have joined the Alliance to help connect, collaborate, and coordinate the needs of Forsyth County residents with the available community assistance resources.
The Alliance has been blessed with many organizations within our county that provide the services to help those in need.
Sometimes on our journey through life, unexpected events happen, such as a loss of a job or a costly illness. When these occur, it impacts more than just the people involved. The Alliance meets regularly to discuss and educate ourselves on the various needs that are affecting our county residents.
When crisis happens it’s hard to know where to turn to get assistance. The Alliance’s mission is to network and coordinate the efforts of our county’s collaborative organizations to assist with these needs.
Helen Keller once said: “The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves.” The Alliance believes that “It’s Your Time Now!”.
The Forsyth County Ministerial Association is an Alliance Collaborating Partner, that helps coordinate the efforts of the Point of Entry organizations.
